Edward A. Sudicky, PhD, FCAE, FRSC - Chairman and Scientific Lead

Dr. Sudicky is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Waterloo (on the faculty since 1985), and is a Principal of Aquanty Inc. He received his B.A.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering (1977), and M.Sc. (1979) and Ph.D. (1983) degrees in Earth Sciences, all at the University of Waterloo. He is the recipient of a number of international awards and honors for his research contributions that include the National Ground Water Association Henry Darcy Distinguished Lecturer (1994) and M. King Hubbert Award (2007), The Geological Society of America O.E. Meinzer Award (1999), and The American Geophysical Union Hydrology Award (2002). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, the Canadian Academy of Engineering, the American Geophysical Union and the Geological Society of America.
