NEW version of HGS (December 2021 - Revision 2332)

We’re pleased to announce the release of HydroGeoSphere Revision 2332 (December 2021).

We’re continuing our crusade against bugs and have crushed several this month. We’re also ramping up our efforts to improve the user documentation, if you ever struggle with documentation definitely let us know!

And as always, we’re striving to offer users an ever-expanding list of commands to build better models. This month we introduce two new commands:

  • The ‘time varying lai from raster’ command interpolates leaf area index values from a time-file table of raster files. If used, the assigned values override any zoned LAI values specified by evapotranspiration (ET) properties.

  • The ‘time varying et zones from raster’ command allows for time-varying zones by assigning ET zones from a time-file table. Note that ET material properties in ET properties files do not change over time, rather it is the spatial distribution of the ET zones that changes over time.

The latest installers are available on the HGS download page and a full list of changes/updates can be found in the release notes.
