Mohammad Salehpour, PhD Candidate, Intermediate Modeller

Mohammad Salehpour is an Intermediate Modeller at Aquanty Inc. and is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at McMaster University, with an expected graduation in 2026. His work focuses on fluid flow in porous media, with an emphasis on complex subsurface processes in groundwater systems, flow instabilities, hydrogen storage, and CO2 sequestration. He received his BSc and MSc in Petroleum Reservoir Engineering in 2017 and 2020, where his work focused on enhanced oil recovery and carbon capture, utilization, and storage. At Aquanty, Mohammad contributes to integrated surface and subsurface studies as part of the Energy and Mining team, helping to interpret complex flow behavior and support decision making in environmental and energy systems.
