NEW version of HGS (October 2021 - Revision 2311)

HydroGeoSphere users will be happy to see that the October 2021 release of HydroGeoSphere is now available (Revision 2301).

This month we’ve focused our efforts on the resolution of several small bugs, and the continuous improvement of documentation. Several existing commands (“well kept secrets”) have been added to the Reference manual and are now fully documented, including the ‘bed slope’ and ‘flux nodal from outlet’ commands.

  • The ‘bed slope’ command allows you to specify the bed slope (S0) used to calculate the ‘zero depth gradient’ boundary condition.

  • The ‘flux nodal from outlet’ applies a command general specified flux boundary condition that takes water removed by an existing boundary condition (outlet) and injects it at a set of user prescribed nodes (inlet).

As always, you can find a full list of changes/updates on the updates page, and find a copy of the latest installers on the download page.
