We’re excited to share that Aquanty has been featured in a new story from University of Waterloo News, highlighting how our hydrologic modelling and forecasting technologies are helping communities anticipate water-related risks before they become emergencies.

The article, “Reading the signs in the streams before emergencies unfold” explores Aquanty’s origins as a University of Waterloo spin-off and how decades of research in integrated hydrologic modelling have shaped the development of HydroGeoSphere, HydroClimateSight, and HydroSphereAI— tools now used by governments, researchers, and industry to support climate resilience and water resource planning in Canada and around the world.

The feature also highlights Aquanty’s role as a co-lead on the Canada1Water initiative, a continental-scale modelling effort supporting long-term planning related to water security, infrastructure resilience, and climate change adaptation across Canada.

We’re proud of our continued collaboration with the University of Waterloo and the many researchers, alumni, and students who contribute to advancing hydrologic science and translating it into practical decision-support tools.
